Dear Rohit

I am fine and hope the same for you. My teacher gave me an assignment to write about a bird. I wrote about a peacock. It’s a medium sized male bird. The female is called a peahen. The peacock has a long shiny dark blue neck and multi-coloured feathers. It has a crown on its head. It eats plants, fruits, seeds, grains, insects, snakes, etc. It flies but not very far. It lives in forests and dense foliage areas. The peacock is the national bird of India. We should protect it.

The birds and animals maintain balance in the ecosystem. So, we should try to protect them from getting hunted by poachers.

Yours

Ajay
